In an alternate reality where Thanos conquered all the universe, Frank Castle's early life was seemingly similar to that of the Frank Castle of Earth-616. However, when Thanos came to Earth, the Punisher was one of the last casualties during the last stand of the heroes and his soul was subsequently sent to Hell. Willing to give anything to punish Thanos for slaughtering his planet, the Punisher signed a demonic deal with Mephisto and became the Ghost Rider. When he returned to Earth, however, Thanos was already gone and everything on the planet was dead. Roaming endlessly and undying with no one to kill or love, the Ghost Rider spent the next countless years alone. He eventually began to lose his mind when even Mephisto fell silent to his calls. When a badly injured Galactus arrived on Earth seeking help against Thanos, unaware that the population of Earth had already been killed by him, the Ghost Rider offered the dead planet to him in exchange for the chance of punishing the Mad Titan as his herald, which the Devourer of Worlds accepted. Bestowed with the Power Cosmic, Ghost Rider became Cosmic Ghost Rider.[47]
In the Reign in Hell miniseries, it is revealed that Lobo's soul was still in Hell following a deal he made with Neron during the 1995 Underworld Unleashed storyline. Lobo's suffering was enough to power Neron's whole castle. Lobo was freed from his prison in a battle between Etrigan the Demon and Blue Devil, and he went on a rampage through Hell to seek revenge on Neron. To buy time to fully recover before battling Lobo, Etrigan stole Blue Devil's soul and informed him that he would have to fight Lobo to get it back. During Lobo's rampage he cut off Zatara's head, forcing his daughter, Zatanna, to send him to the Abyss, the soul death.
In several instances throughout the show, contrary to her usual behavior, she does show more emotion such as making \"heart eyes\" along with Starfire at the appearance of Aqualad in \"Deep Six\" (though this is mostly used for comedic effect). She also does ease up to have some fun on a few occasions, such as forcing Cyborg to go through 'initiation' again with Beast Boy and Robin in the episode \"Deception\". Furthermore, Raven is known to sometimes be shocked at trivial things. One occasion in which this occurs is in \"Overdrive\", when Cyborg defeats Raven in a game of chess after installing the Maximum 7 in his brain. At this occasion, her entire face and outfit turn white (also probably for comedic effect). In \"Revved Up\", she is also shocked at the sudden drop-in of Red X on the bus she is driving but quickly regains her monotone and determined stature when she realizes who it is. Another instance is when Raven, while playing a game of cards, comically gasps at the impressive sets of cards the rest of the Titans have at their disposal during \"Winner Take All\". She can lose her temper easily, and most of the time with Beast Boy.
When Cyborg's T-Car was stolen, she dismissed his dismay over the stolen vehicle by stating \"It's just a car,\" which in turn made Cyborg exceptionally angry. While this happens off-screen, Raven does see the fault in her response and goes to comfort him when he gave up all hope of getting it back. She helps him get his car back from Gizmo, and though he was forced to destroy it, she goes as far as to help him rebuild the car, further proving their close friendship.Cyborg often sees Raven, like Starfire, as a younger sister to him, and as such is not very positive about any harm coming her way. During their first battle with Control Freak, a giant trash can appears to scare Raven, but Cyborg tackles it away, telling her not to worry as he has got it. This is not to say he is overprotective of her, or treats her as a \"damsel in distress\" as he knows Raven is more than capable of taking care of herself. The two appear to enjoy playing chess together, and as seen in \"Overdrive\", Raven usually seems to beat him. Though after installing the Max-7 in his brain, she loses to him and is rather shocked. Cyborg makes Raven smile more than anyone else in the series. Her biggest smiles, at least, two episodes centering around Cyborg's troubles.[48][49] Cyborg often looks out for Raven. They appear to get along well and have a good friendship.
Starfire and Raven initially had no relationship besides being teammates. They are polar opposites in terms of personality, almost like Raven's relationship with Beast Boy, but she respects Starfire's cheerful personality. Being the only girls on the team gave them a special bond from the beginning. Starfire wanted to be friends with Raven, but Raven dismissed all of Starfire's requests to hang out or do stereotypical \"teenage girl stuff\" in a rather rude manner. Their relationship is dealt with when the two girls have to switch bodies, and then, in order to get their bodies back, have to learn everything about each other's powers and origins. This ordeal helps them become closer and have a better understanding of one another.[6]
Wonder Woman's much-buzzed-about movie may have granted her a bit of a popular-vote groundswell, but there wasn't much agreement on which run of comics from her long and storied life should make the final cut. Arguments were made for her debut comics, which remain bracingly weird; George Perez's mid-'80s reboot; Greg Rucka's tenure, when he turned her into a kind of superpowered diplomat; and Brian Azzarello's recent turn, in which he recast the Olympian gods as rival crime families. Ultimately, it was Gail Simone's run on the character (especially her four-issue launch tale, The Circle, with art by Terry and Rachel Dodson) that best managed to nail Diana's iconography by depicting her as powerful as we know her to be and as compassionate as we need her to be.
On one of Lucifer visits to Earth in 2011, he assisted Amenadiel in finding his necklace and eventually decided to abdicate his throne to become a nightclub owner in Los Angeles, operating an establishment called Lux. He forced his eldest brother to oblige due to the deal he made with him to help find his necklace and had his closest friend and senior lieutenant, Mazikeen join him, owing John Constantine a favor for helping her leave Hell during their search for the necklace. After having Maze cut his wings off, he repaid that favor during the Anti-Monitor Crisis before the Multiverse was destroyed and later reborn, allowing the former King of Hell to continue his carefree life.
After weeks of procrastination, feeling that he is not the right person for the job, Lucifer abandoned his decision to become God. He is surprised when his future daughter, Aurora Morningstar, confronts him from her Timeline for answers on why he abandoned her and Chloe. Despite not being able to figure out why, Lucifer proved that he loved Rory and would never leave her intentionally, leading to their reconciliation. After helping Dan to deal with his guilt and ascend into Heaven as well as dissuading Aurora from killing Vincent Le Mec, Lucifer returns to Hell to help heal the damned souls of Hell so that they too could be redeemed. Decades later, after dying of old age, Chloe is reunited with Lucifer in Hell, willingly joining him as his eternal partner in Lucifer's mission.
He took Jack back to the Garden Club to begin their search. He assured Jack that he could handle himself when the private investigator told him to let him deal with any trouble that came their way, but relented when he brought up his time in WWII. He then asked what \"ne'er-do-well\" they should interview first. Jack nodes to the bartender, Gertie, and the duo questioned her knowledge on the ring's location.
He, however, changed his mind when Jack started fighting back. Before Lucifer could assist, the sound of whistling behind the men halted the fight. Coming out of the shadows was Tommy Stompanato, who threatened them with their lives if they kept asking questions in his club. He then turned his gaze towards Lucifer, deeming him lucky to be friends with \"Lily Rose,\" but demanded he not get \"too friendly\" with her. This just made Lucifer chuckle at his threat.
They were joined by Jack, who warned Lucifer to stay away from his wife. He, however, figured Jack wouldn't mind since he noticed the man hadn't spoken to his wife since he arrived. Changing the topic to Larry's murder, Lucifer was informed that he got into a fight with a bratwurst heir dubbed \"Willy the Sausage Prince\" at the docks yesterday; Lucifer made a crack at the man's nickname. H then took note of the tension between Jack and Shirley when the man decided to stay at his office for the night before they went to question Willy.
She took a seat opposite to him and revealed that after ditching the \"wet blanket\" Hernán Cortés in the Americas, she found herself in the company of Moctezuma before she was thrown into a volcano by his priests and when she survived, it was written on a stone tablet. This made Lucifer laugh at the mortals ways to explain the Celestial world. He then got the idea that since the ring wouldn't work, the thief would look for a way to make it work, coming up with a plan to fulfill his debt.
Needing the help of his demon soldier, friend, and servant, Mazikeen, to help locate Amenadiel's lost necklace, Lucifer made a deal with John Constantine of Earth-1 to get her out; thus Lucifer owed Constantine a favor.[36] Following the retrieval of the necklace, Lucifer cashed in the favor Amenadiel owed him to leave him and Mazikeen alone on Earth.[23]
Diggle demanded he cut out his foolishness and help them which only made Lucifer become attracted to his demeanor towards him. Always living up to his deals, Lucifer gifted them a Purgatory Teleportation Card to use to save Oliver's soul. He, however, warned them that they only had a limited time within Purgatory and their souls would be destroyed if they didn't return to the mortal plane before the card of him playing a piano with his Devil face faded away.
